🔍 Code & Text Diff Viewer
Compare two versions of code, configurations, or text documents. Visually highlight added, deleted, and modified lines with full privacy.
How Diffing Works in ToolsHub
ToolsHub calculates the Longest Common Subsequence (LCS) between the lines of your two texts in browser JavaScript. It compares Swift, Dart, Java, Kotlin, PHP, JavaScript, Python, Go, Rust and other languages as plain text, without compiling or executing code. It isolates insertions and deletions without ever transmitting proprietary code to an external network.
How to use Code & Text Diff Viewer
Paste the original and revised text, then compare them in the available views. Review highlighted additions and deletions.
What to check before using the result
Whitespace and line endings can create differences. Large inputs may take longer because comparison runs in the browser.
Example: Reviewing a small code change
Paste the old version on the left and the revised version on the right. The result lists added, removed and unchanged lines. Ignore whitespace only when spacing differences are irrelevant to your review.
