🔐 Base64, URL & Hex Encoder / Decoder
Encode and decode strings across Base64 (UTF-8 safe), URL percent-encoding, HTML entities, Hexadecimal, and Binary formats with real-time conversion.
Encoding Format Summary
- Base64 (UTF-8 Safe): Correctly handles multi-byte Unicode strings and emojis without standard JavaScript
btoatruncation bugs. - URL Percent-Encoding: Encodes reserved query parameters (e.g.
?,&,/) into%XXescapes for safe transmission in web addresses. - Hexadecimal: Converts every byte into a two-digit hexadecimal representation (00-FF).
How to use Base64, URL & Hex Converter
Select the encoding type, paste your input and choose encode or decode. Copy the result after checking that the mode matches the source.
What to check before using the result
Encoding is not encryption. Base64 and URL encoding do not make credentials or private information secret.
Example: Checking an encoded greeting
Hello becomes SGVsbG8= in Base64 and 48 65 6c 6c 6f in hexadecimal UTF-8 bytes. Choose the matching decode mode to recover the text. Encoding is reversible and does not protect secrets.
